Wow! It is hard to believe that it is December already. We will be working hard this month to help students meet the expected DIBELS and reading benchmarks in January. Students will be re-assessed on both tests the first part of January. I know that December is a busy month for everyone, but PLEASE KEEP READING DAILY--even over Christmas Break. Two weeks off with no reading can have a large effect on their January reading scores.Please mark your calendars for our First Grade Christmas Program "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" by Dr. Seuss. We will be practicing hard during the next few weeks so please make sure your child is still everyday to learn speaking parts and songs. The program will be Wednesday, December 13 at 6:00 pm for parents. We will also be performing for the school that morning at 9:30.
